Oh Melo Velo

It's been a long time, but we'll have an Oh Melo Velo reunion ride on Wednesday, June 15 to honor Crash Eddy Downing's birthday. Start at 6:00 (with photo before), ~32 mile distance, eat and drink at MacGregor Draft House afterwards, probably around 8:00.

Hey, OMV riders, come out to BruePrint Brewery in Apex for our Tuesday/Thursday night rides. 43 miles, ride with lights and finish after dark. It's way more fun than you might expect! We'll go for at least another couple weeks.

I'm going to put Oh Melo Velo on pause for a while. There just hasn't been the turnout to justify the effort of creating the routes each week, and my own personal schedule now favors Tuesday/Thursday rides. I may resurrect OMV later in the year, but for now I'll direct folks to the CBC Tuesday/Thursday night rides at Brueprint Brewery in Apex.

I also created on Oh Melo Velo club on Strava, if you're interested. It's a little involved to import routes from RideWithGPS into Strava, so I don't know that I'll create events in both locations - we'll see how that goes.
