We are thrilled to welcome Kristen Gallagher to Cary Ballet Conservatory's Professional Training Program Experience during the final week of our 2026 Summer Intensive.

A former member of The Suzanne Farrell Ballet and its longtime Repertory Director, Kristen has spent decades preserving and staging the works of George Balanchine, while performing and coaching some of ballet's most celebrated repertoire. Her career has taken her from Richmond Ballet to the Kennedy Center, and she continues to stage Balanchine ballets for leading companies across the country.

PTP-E dancers will have the unique opportunity to learn from an artist whose depth of knowledge, artistry, and experience continue to shape the next generation of dancers.

We can't wait to have her in the studios next week.

Costume workshop! ✨

Our Summer Intensive students explored the process of designing and constructing a classical ballet bodice or tunic using the 3D cast method. From creating custom patterns and testing mock-ups to working with a variety of fabrics and refining their designs.
They gained hands-on experience in every step of bringing a costume from concept to creation!

Joining Francesca Carocci for the final week of Cary Ballet Conservatory's Summer Intensive are Thiago Silva and Krista King-Doherty, bringing even more world-class experience and artistry to our Professional Training Program Experience.

From July 27 – August 1, participating dancers will train with an exceptional faculty committed to inspiring the next generation of artists through challenging classes, individual mentorship, and professional-level coaching.
