GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN: Time to get registered for this Southeast favorite! 3 days of competition at the iconic MacRae Meadows will take place July 10-12. There is truly something for everyone: The Atlantic International Championship, pre-championship, solo and duet choreography, challenge jig for both intermediate and premiere, and pre-premiere competitions! Not to mention all the other events and entertainment at one of the most iconic games in the US! Be sure to note the parking option with your entry- if it's been a few years since you've been there is a new (and air conditioned) shuttle option just for dancers to ease the parking difficulties on the mountain (mountain parking also available). No additional entry ticket required for competing dancers!

Such fun dancing for the folks at Waltonwood today!

This week we played with a really fun Python script that a dance dad wrote for us. The "knee angle" number is comparing your knee height to toe height--effectively whether you're at second high. "Hip angle" tells you whether your hips are still straight while you're doing it. Data!
