BBSI is a pre-professional ballet program designed specifically for the male dancer.
BBSI is uniquely designed for male dancers in a positive learning environment. The program provides personalized training by internationally and nationally recognized instructors and professional dancers.
This summer, we assembled a team of super stars for one night of unforgettable dancing. Our tenth anniversary gala performance was nothing short of incredible, featuring SIXTEEN professionals from all over the world including some of our esteemed BBSI alumni. Thank you to everyone who made this night happen!
Today, we celebrate Daphne Horvat, one of our BBSI Ladies Excellence Award winners for 2026. Daphne is a student at the ABT JKO School & has attended our program for years.

We are incredibly grateful to these fourteen professional dancers who joined us onstage, sharing their extraordinary artistry and undeniable talents, helping make this milestone performance so special.
A heartfelt thank you to the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts for welcoming us and providing such a beautiful home for our tenth anniversary celebration.
Lastly to our remarkable choreographers; thank you for entrusting our dancers with your beautiful works. It was an immense honor to bring such iconic works and world premieres to the North Carolina audience.

With our third intensive week underway and our performance coming up fast, let’s take a moment to sincerely thank ADC IBC for their continued support of BBSI. Through this multi-year partnership we can extend acceptances and scholarships to the nation’s next generation of professionals, while scouting for unique talent and hard working students. Thank you ADC!
One of ballet’s most thrilling steps comes with a whole lot of challenges and prerequisites to execute properly and consistently. The clearest way to progress one’s turns is to prioritize the alignment of the passé, a clear spot, an engaged and active standing side, and constant use of turnout on one’s standing leg. Here, our gentlemen at BBSI provide a wonderful visual aide, great job everyone 👏🏻
