Annie & Janey’s first spa day!🐴✨
These two elderly minis are rescues, & have been through A LOT together!❤️🩹
They were originally loving therapy ponies for children, who ended up neglected after the therapy program shut down💔
Fast forward, these sweethearts have found their soft landing with a lovely family! Their new owners reached out to us to help get them cleaned up & comfortable.
Baths and clips were on the grooming agenda… knowing their traumatic past, I did everything possible to keep them relaxed throughout their spa day! Annie couldn’t stop yawning 🥱 & was snoozing the whole time she was drying after her bath!🧼
Janey needed a bit more TLC💞
Due to the severe matting in her coat, & severe arthritis making it difficult for her to stand for long periods of time…
I gave her a deep clean & gently removed as much of her matted coat as possible, before she let me know she was done for today & ready to go back to her stall & rest!🙌🏼
Comfort clips are just that💜
Going into these types of clips, I have only one goal in mind… Get them as comfortable as possible, as quickly as possible!
At the end of the day, these clips will not always be the most aesthetically pleasing… but gaining the trust of a rescue by making them feel pampered, relaxed, & SAFE is the biggest win!🏆
