Completed in 2010 at a cost of $20 million, Grande Sports World is truly an athlete’s dream come true, boasting eight professional-grade soccer fields (six lighted); an impressive 58,000-square-foot training and conditioning performance center with top quality locker rooms; state-of-the-art training equipment for elite athletes; and two therapy pools for recovery and rehabilitation. The historic and beautifully appointed Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort is adjacent to Grande Sports World and offers excellent accommodations for guests. Grande Sports Academy, home of the nationally recognized Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy, is the only full-time residential academy affiliated with a Major League Soccer team. The academy concentrates on developing highly competitive soccer players to become outstanding young men both on and off the field. Grande Sports Academy has built an organization that sets the bar for excellence, winning the 2012-13 U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-15/16 National Championship and reaching the USSDA final in both the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.
