Always a pleasure having visitors and even better when they are both Jiu Jitsu and Judo Black belts! The homie Luis Feliciano is both and has been coming down to my place over the last 10+ years when he is in town. It’s nice being a student again on the mat with my students while he teaches.
Good times hermano 🤙🏽🔥🥋🥋

Hey all,
After spending the last year in the Police Academy, completing field training, getting on a dedicated shift and getting life situated, I’m finally able to bring back the Kids Program and able to teach it myself starting April 14th. Kids Classes will be Ages 4-12.
Proud to be the highest ranking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt (3rd Degree) in the surrounding area with a Pro MMA Record of 10-4. I’ve been in the game since 2001. All of my MMA fights were done before dedicating myself to Jiu Jitsu.
This is my life’s work.
I’m also very proud to serve my city off the mat and able to teach not just to the public but also those in the surrounding law enforcement agencies and now our youth kids class. Over the years I’ve taught people from almost every agency including our Pinal County Regional SWAT Team.
Spots will be limited as we are a small school but also to ensure each child gets proper instruction. See ya’ll on the mat 🔥🤙🏽🥋

Hey All,
This time of year always feels a little different.
Things tend to slow down and the days get quieter than usual. Fewer messages come through, plans don’t feel as urgent and the pace just changes a bit, especially if you’re used to always moving and on the go.
My calendar’s pretty light right now too and I don’t mind it.
These in between days have their own rhythm. Training might be lighter, work might feel a little scattered and it can be hard to tell whether you’re wrapping one year up or already thinking about the next one, I understand whatever the situation is.
I think it’s okay to let things be a little loose right now.
There’s no big lesson in this message and no announcements either. Just a reminder that you don’t have to force momentum this week. Rest counts. Quiet counts. Showing up refreshed when things pick back up is easier when you don’t run yourself into the ground first.
If you’re on the mat or in the gym this week, enjoy it. If you’re not, that’s fine too. The work will still be there when you’re ready.
