On the first Thursday here in August, we want to thank another longtime event sponsor and supporter, the good people at Day Motor Sports! Coming off a spectacular 2026 Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts, the Wild West team is making plans for the 2027 edition to be even bigger at FK Rod Ends Central Arizona Raceway presented by Low Voltage Solutions. Topping the 2026 event which featured 14 different winners shooting the guns in Hoker Trucking Victory Lane out of 18 main events, a total of 234 competitors entering the event and Stuckey Enterprises Super Late Model presented by Malvern Bank finale Main Event Winner Bobby Pierce pocketing $51,500 for one night of racing, won't be an easy task. "As usual we have lots exciting things planned for our fans & racers and we are planning to add to the cool factor in 2027", says event co-promoter Jason Babyak.
