She stood at the airplane door, 13,000 feet above the Sonoran Desert, and froze. 😰

Let's bust some skydiving myths! 🪂 (Because we hear these ALL the time)

MYTH #1: "Your stomach drops like a roller coaster" ❌ NOPE! You're already moving at the plane's speed, so there's no "drop" feeling. It's more like floating on air (because you literally are). Way less stomach-churny than a roller coaster!

MYTH #2: "You can't breathe during freefall" ❌ FALSE! You can absolutely breathe. The air is rushing past you at 120mph, so you just breathe through your nose. Our instructors will remind you—because first-timers often hold their breath from excitement! 😄

MYTH #3: "The parachute opening hurts" ❌ NOT TRUE! Modern parachutes open gradually. You'll feel a tug, but it's not painful at all. Most people say it's actually a relief—like "okay, we're floating now!"

MYTH #4: "It's super dangerous" ❌ STATISTICALLY SAFER THAN DRIVING! With USPA-certified instructors, modern equipment, and strict safety protocols, tandem skydiving is incredibly safe. Our instructors average 10,000+ jumps each. We've been doing this for 25+ years with an impeccable safety record.

MYTH #5: "I'm too old/out of shape/scared" ❌ We've had jumpers from 18 to 90+! If you can walk to the plane and lift your legs for landing, you can skydive. And being scared? That's totally normal and part of the experience! Courage isn't the absence of fear—it's jumping anyway. 💪
