Don't be a fool, remember the two-bounce rule! ✌️

If you're new to pickleball, there are quite a few rules to remember! So, here's another one: the tow-bounce rule. What does this mean? It means that the serve and the return of serve must bounce once before you can hit the ball out of the air. The ball has now bounced twice, meaning you can begin hitting the ball in the air, without it bouncing on the ground first.

Meet Sammie! We know many of you already know her, but she's our fearless front desk leader and Pro Shop manager! Sammie has been with Casper Pickleball & Sports Complex since we opened nearly three years ago.

After moving to Casper from Texas in 2023, Sammie saw an article about a new sports complex coming to Casper. New to the area, she thought this would be a great job opportunity, especially because she saw the complex would have a pro shop, and Sammie has years of retail experience.

Fast forward to today, Sammie has found a love for pickleball after being a former tennis player! In college, Sammie played several other sports. Now, she's addicted to pickleball and even says it is more fun than tennis! In her free time, Sammie loves to read young adult novels and watch sci-fi movies.

Sammie says pickleball is truly for everyone and shares: “Don’t let disabilities keep you from playing and trying new sports.”
