Another great meat shoot. We scored 102 boards and had a packed house. It’s been an amazing winter for night shooting. Thank you to the shooters and also to the RMGC Directors that got their steps in last night going up and down the sidewalk. Our four traps with lights were kept full all evening.

🥩 Friday Night Plans?
Our friends at Rocky Mountain Gun Club are hosting their monthly Meat Shoot this Friday, February 6th!
📍 Where: RMGC (Cole Creek Rd)
🕔 When: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Since our clubhouse is closed for winter, this is the best place to get warm, socialize, and maybe win a steak dinner. Go show them some love!

"If you live in Wyoming and enjoy shooting, this is a good deal... The targets are challenging to any skill set." - Michael G.
We appreciate our long-time members who make this club what it is. Whether you've been shooting here for 35 years or this is your first month, you are part of the Casper S***t Club family.
Have a great photo from the range this January? DM us! We’d love to feature our winter warriors.

💨 Casper Wind vs. Your Shot Pattern
We all know Casper averages over 20mph of wind in January. But how does that change your hold point?
Crosswinds: S***t targets will dive or climb. Watch the flight path of the target before you load your gun.
Choke Selection: Cold air is denser than warm air. Your pattern opens up slower. You might not need that Full Choke today—Improved Cylinder might be your best friend in sub-freezing temps!
Stance: Widen your base. If the wind is blowing you around, your gun swing will be erratic.

It’s a brisk one out there, but the clays don't care about the cold! 🥶
Who’s brave enough to break some targets this weekend? Remember, the clubhouse is winterized, so there are no indoor conveniences available. Dress in layers, bring your hand warmers, and keep your transmitter batteries inside your coat until you shoot!
⚠️ Safety Tip of the Week: Cold fingers can be clumsy. Take extra time loading and unloading. Always ensure your action is open when not in the station. Safety is ALWAYS Rule #1.
