Oscar’s newest creation deserves a closer look! 🔥🔥
-Talon 7’9” carbon 60/40 Twitch rod.
The age old problem with a 50/50 two-piece rod design is that it places the connection right in the middle of the rod’s bend. That connection can create a stiff flat spot that interrupts the smooth, continuous bend of a rod blank.
Solution? The 60/40 split.
This design moves the connection farther down into the backbone of the blank, where the rod naturally flexes less, this leaves more of the working upper section uninterrupted. The result is a smooth, progressive bend that feels like a one-piece rod.
Would you like to try a 60/40 split?
Oscar made a handful for you guys if you’re interested.
