Countdown to Candy day! 6 More Days Til Halloween and we’re celebrating our travel softball ladies and their fall festivities! Awesome to see all of the fields full this time of year with great softball and a holiday flair!

The 12U Tornados just finished the regular season doing what the girls have done all of Fall Ball, having a blast playing together and continuing to improve as a team! The girls also finished with a 6-1-1 record and earned a spot in the Fall Championship against Woodstock!

6u Fall Ball is underway and the kids are working hard at practice looking forward to a great season!

We want to give a HUGE shout out and best wishes to one of our very own Sophia Brown! #13 spent her last two seasons of travel ball with Thunder baseball and later this week she’ll head out to our nation’s capital to showcase her talents in the Women’s Professional Baseball League.

She will participate in tryouts August 22-25 in Washington DC for its inaugural season in 2026. 600 women ages 18 and up will compete for one of 150 spots. (Think WNBA but for baseball!)

We all wish you the best of Luck Sophia! We know you’ll make us all proud!⚾️

The 12u Tornados season came to an end against Crystal Lake in the first round of the playoffs. The girls improved as a team and individually throughout the season, having a tough stretch in the 1st half, but took big steps as the season went on, winning 4 of 7 in the 2nd half for a total of 5 wins!!

Congrats girls on a great season, not just by wins and losses, but also by helping to continue growing LITH Tornados Softball👍
