The Green Team

The Green Team is a fun loving, ragtag group of upstarts and misfits who share a love for softball and socializing.

With the simple cheer "We are green!", the Green Team takes the field with smiles while supporters root along in the bleachers. Winners of the Palm Springs Gay Softball League's Team Spirit Award in 2014, Green Team plays with pride. The team always includes a mixture of veterans and newcomers; anybody is welcome as long as they commit to practices, games and fun. Aside from regular-season games on Sundays, Green Team practices at least once a week and attends at least one tournament each year.

This Sunday is your last chance to see The Green Team play in the Spring Season. The battle begins at 1pm at Big League Dreams Cathedral City. We keep playing until we lose so we're planning on a long day!

It's Dining Out for Life Coachella Valley 2016 day, and the members of The Green Team are serving as the Desert AIDS Project ambassadors at Chill Bar Palm Springs and Bongo Johnny's Patio Bar & Grille Palm Springs all day.
