They’re in! 🐾🤎
Tilly and Benny spent their first evening exploring their new habitat, and they had plenty to say about it 😂🔊
After spending the last few weeks planning and building this space, getting to finally watch them climb, investigate and check everything out was the part we’ve been waiting for.
They’ll have plenty more to discover as they settle in, and we’re looking forward to continuing to add to their space along the way.

The new coati habitat is officially DONE! 🐾🤎
We’ve been working on this project for the last few weeks, and we’re so excited to finally be able to show you the finished space!
There was a lot of thought that went into creating a habitat where Tilly and Benny can climb, explore, dig and just be coatis — and we’ll continue adding to it as we go.
But now for the part we’ve really been waiting for… move-in day!
Tilly and Benny are getting their first chance to explore their new habitat, and of course we’re bringing you along for that too

The guesses are over… meet our newest residents! 🦌🤎

Three yearling fallow deer arrived at Bailiwick this morning — one buck and two does, including one beautiful chocolate-colored doe.
Fallow deer have been part of Bailiwick in the past, so we’re excited to have the species back at the park!
They’re still getting used to their new surroundings and are a little unsure of everything right now, but they’re already starting to settle in. We’ll be giving them plenty of time and space to get comfortable in their new home

And no, they don’t have names yet… 👀 We’ll have to work on that!

Teachers, teaching assistants, classroom aides, school administrators, school counselors and school nurses are invited to enjoy FREE zoo admission today with a valid school ID. ❤️

A little snack break with our sulcatas 🐢🥕
Sulcata tortoises are natural grazers, spending much of their time eating grasses and other vegetation. They’re also the third-largest species of tortoise in the world — and can live for well over 70 years!
Stop by and visit them on your next trip through the park 🐢
