In the fall of 2009 on opening day of archery season my plan was to sit in a homemade ground blind at the edge of a field on the property that I hunt. Just about an hour before I left the house that afternoon it dawned on me that the tripod my mom had given me for my digital photo camera the past Christmas might also accommodate my Sony Handycam, and if so I could try and video my hunt. Long story short not only did it work with my video camera but I also successfully filmed myself harvesting a coyote at 15 yards on the ground. Since that early fall evening in 2009 my hunting world has changed forever. I have been completely devoted to gathering the very best HD footage that I possibly can and I have titled my (hopefully never ending) project- STAR CITY WHITETAILS………….. O yeah lol we are in the 540 but started off working hard to try and find a feed and luckily we must have gotten a small push of birds in a field we had permission on. We got out there a little early and got everything set up and it wasn't 20 minutes before the 1st flock dropped in doing it dirty and the others read the script just perfectly. It was some fast passed action, good shooting and great team work that made it all happen.

Alex Tinsley- ( Hanover County Early Firearm Doe Season) Got off work Thursday evening an slipped into my stand at the edge of a oak flat by the swamp at 5pm, made the shot by 5:10. Got my Buck back. Isn't he a beaut! Definitely the Buck of a lifetime for me! He's going to be hard to top! I'm looking forward to trying though! The rough scored him twice and he said he was 138-141. I know nothing about scoring them, but regardless of the score, I'm so happy with him!

Good morning, I wanted to share this picture of our first goose hunt ever. My buddy and I started duck hunting last year and decided to try geese for the first time this year and were blessed Monday with 12 geese from a single flock. It was definitely a hunt we won't ever forget.
