The vestibular system is like an internal GPS system for the body. It is housed in the brain and this system sends messages and signals to the rest of the body, telling our body where you are in space and where you need to go.
Our adaptive program provides multiple opportunities that will challenge your child’s vestibular system like swinging, climbing, and running. These activities will promote growth in balance and coordination by creating more pathways in the brain! 🧠👣👂🏻👀

Hanging and swinging are forms of heavy work activities that provide sensory benefits such as proprioceptive input to the muscles and joints. This can be very calming while also decreasing stress and anxiety! @ Ninja U

Research has shown there is a strong correlation between core muscle strength and learning. If a child has poor posture, fragile arms and hands, or a weak back it may hinder a child’s ability to memorize facts, retain information, and express themselves while in school. When your child comes to an adaptive Ninja U pop up class, their body is challenged in many ways through hanging, running, and swinging. All of these activities help kids stimulate more neural connections in their brain which helps promote strength building their core muscles! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
