We’d like to take a moment to celebrate Jada Dachtler, who has served as our outstanding Marketing and Communication Intern from January 2025 through May 2026. Jada brought enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a genuine commitment to our work, always going above and beyond to learn new skills and contribute to our team.

Jada’s passion for the environment has been an inspiration. She never shied away from a new challenge, and her positive spirit made her a true asset and great teammate.

As Jada embarks on her next chapter, we know she’ll continue to make an impact wherever she goes. We wish her nothing but the best and are confident that she will excel in her new role and beyond.

We all gathered at George’s Local to celebrate the accomplishments and great work they have done during their time at the IWRC and UNI.

IWRC Director Joe Bolick will be presenting at UNI’s Professional Development Conference on May 21. Joe is speaking during Breakout Session 4 with panelists James Hoelscher (Associate Director, Institute of Decision Making) and Christy Ryken (Director, Strategic Marketing Services) on remaining professionally neutral in a divided world.

The University of Northern Iowa’s Research Foundation had the opportunity to visit our Paint Application & Coating Education (PACE) facility located in Cedar Falls, IA, and immerse themselves in the Spray Technique Analysis and Research for Defense (STAR4D) program with its 3D VirtualPaint technology. 🎨🖥️

This program began in 1994 and has continued to evolve over the past 22 years. To date, 5,392 military painters have been trained under the STAR4D program. 🛡️👩‍🎨
