Our ladies took the field this weekend against some of the best teams in the Midwest has to offer in the PGF Rock the awareness tournament and finished 3rd out of 16 teams! These ladies exceeded my expectations and broke through the wall of that expectations. Some close wins, close losses and thrilling walk off wins. Cannot wait to get into the off season and work on some things to come back stronger! Congrats to IMG on winning it all.

Scores as follows;

Texas Glory 5 IMG Boyd 4
Gators Swiatkowski 3 Texas Glory 2
Texas Glory 12 Lightning CB 7
Texas Glory 7 Bombers Gold 13u KL 6
Texas Glory 12 Panthers 14u 1

Second game in Loss to Gators 3-2. Honorable Mentions was Lilly Cunningham (2030 Hebron) 5 innings, 1 Earned run ball and Taylor Houin (2030 Plymouth) for her double which lead to a run by Emma Kennedy (2030 Hobart), with Eleni Ploutis (2031) rbi double in this one!

Game 3 was a big win over Lightning 12-7 and the hype chain goes to our breast cancer survivors on our TG family! 4 wonderful ladies spoke to team about their hardships they encountered in their recovery! Congrats to the these women and all that were able to overcome this terrible cancer! We are praying and thinking about the lost ones that were not able to overcome it.

2-1 on the day with 8am bracket tomorrow! Good job to all ladies!

Go Texas Glory!

We had a come from behind 4-0 and won over Magic Gold 5-4 behind strong pitching of Claire Meredith (Illiana 2030)! Plus timely late in game hitting to put us up for good!

Way to go Claire!

Very excited for our girls to be pushed this weekend playing against some of the best in the Midwest has to offer! Bonus that we get to play for a great cause, as some of us have loved ones and friends that dealt with this cancer.
