Meet Graham! He joined our team this summer as a food runner and has been an amazing asset to the team for both a la carte and banquet set up.

He grew up in Cedar Rapids, attended Linn Mar, and was the first men's volleyball player from his high school to compete at the collegiate level. And now? He is an assistant men's volleyball coach at Mt. Mercy University.

His favorite parts about working at the Club are his fellow employees and the flexibility to work here while maintaining position with MMU.

His best advise received? Do what you love and live every day doing that.

When he isn't at work, you can find him golfing or spending time with family. His favorite restaurant in town is where he orders the Mozzarella Log or the Burger - hands down favorite.

✨ Five Years of Love & Celebration ✨

Five years ago, we had the honor of hosting our first Indian wedding at the Club. From the planning and coordination to the final celebration, it was a privilege to help bring their vision to life and welcome their family and loved ones to the Club while creating memories we will never forget.

The day was filled with colorful traditions, joyful moments, meaningful details, and most importantly, an abundance of love. From the ceremony to the reception, every part of the celebration was a reflection of family, culture, and togetherness.

Happy 5th Anniversary to Brian & Pooja! Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful milestone and for giving us memories we’ll always cherish. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and celebration! 🥂✨

Meet Lauren, our Employee Spotlight of the week! Lauren joined the team this past July as a server and her favorite part about working at the Club is getting to know the members and building relationships with them. She came to the US from the United Kingdom on an athletic soccer scholarship for undergrad at Mt. Mercy and is now staying here while she completes her Masters in Organizational Leadership.

Fun fact- her home town? Rugby, UK - where the game of rugby was invented!

Outside of work she continues to play soccer at a semi-professional level. What she misses most about home are her family and the English sense of humor.

Her best advice she's ever received is "Nothing easy is worth doing. "It has helped her when having to make a difficult decision, or when she finds a challenge she needs to push through.

FIVE Years ago today, the Costellos trusted us with hosting their wedding day at the Club. To know Kylie & Vaughn is to love them and we are blessed to be a part of their journey. From wedding day, to baby showers, to family events, we have been able to continue to celebrate them and see their family grow. Congratulations on FIVE years of marriage and cheers to many more!
