It has officially been 7 years today since our lives changed forever. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you or the impact you still have on our lives. I know you are watching over these crazy girls of ours & I pray you are hanging out with Cash and loving every minute of it. Tell him we'll see him and you again soon...but not too soon.

I started this organization after Jeff's tragic death on December 13, 2007. It has been my mission to In our case, it was the latter.
As Jeff's widow, I visit with various companies & their employees to share the importance of on-the-job safety measures through my family's story. Jeff's life was cut short because not all safety precautions were heeded. In sharing Jeff's accident & the aftermath, we hope to save lives. It only takes 60 seconds to double check & could be a life or death decision.
I love the power of prayer! It's been confirmed. I'm doing a 2-day safety class and getting to speak to over 500 employees in Tulsa, OK on April 29-30!!!! To God be the glory! This is His story. I'm just a mouthpiece. Thanks to everyone for your prayers!!

Please pray for Jeff's family as they lost their mom today to a long battle with cancer. Jeff now has both parents in heaven with him. I know she is so happy to see her baby boy!
11 years ago today, I became Mrs. Jeff Short. Who knew then what God had in store for our family? But looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. We made 2 beautiful girls & millions of memories! "I could've missed the pain but I'd have had to miss the dance."
What an awesome day!! A person at our site found a box of keepsakes in the rubble from a baby that died a few years ago. The mother of the baby was there & we got to meet her! Just witnessing that made this trip worth every brick & board I picked up. If you can, please go!

Every single part of me wants to be with the widows in West right now. Just sit in a room & let them talk. And to let them know that whatever they're feeling is 100% normal. And how important it is that they have each other.
Got a text from a friend saying that her hubs was in an OSHA training & a guy started talking about Jeff. How freaking cool is that? Jeff is still touching lives 5 years later!!
