Have caving knees when performing a squat?
➡️ Common reasons for this is weak glutes and tight adductors (inner thigh). Caving knees is a common problem that could affect your daily life in many ways and continuing your daily exercise regimen with this issue can cause knee pain, immobility and/or injuries.
⬆️ Working with my client on some glute strengthening and having her stretch and foam roll her inner thighs to help fix some imbalances and training her knees to have good alignment instead of caving inward during her squats 🏋🏽♀️

✨Tips to help motivate you to workout:
▪️ Choose a set time to workout: adding your workout to your schedule allows you to get into a daily routine!
▪️ Set measurable goals: don’t always focus on your big goal, set smaller, measurable goals for you to reach everyday that will get you closer to your big goal. Ex:
- drink 8 glasses of water a day 💦
- complete 8,000 steps a day 🏃🏽♀️
- move your body for 30 min a day 🧘🏽♀️
- replace your desserts with a bowl of fruit 🍉
▪️ Track your progress: I’m not the biggest advocate of the scale, especially for women because we fluctuate so much, but if you like the scale, only weigh yourself once a week or every other week. Weighing yourself everyday is going to drive you crazy 😜
My favorite way to track progress is progress pics! Even if the scale hasn’t budged, progress pictures allow you to visually see your body changing month by month!
▪️ Get an accountability partner:
An accountability partner is someone that you workout with that will hold you accountable to actually working out. Don’t choose a friend who’s equally as lazy as you, find someone who is motivated and will push you!
Can’t think of someone? Hire a Personal Trainer! Motivating you, pushing you and keeping you on track with your goals is literally what we do for a living. Along with helping correct imbalances and movement patterns along the way😉
Most importantly, change your habits. If you want to change your life you have to start with your daily habits👌🏽💪🏽
