Our interns don't just shadow - they learn the how and why behind what we do, then prove that they can apply it themselves.
LP Interns Sam Kober () and Paulina Aarmendariz () just wrapped their end of semester capstone project: design a full year of training for a hypothetical athlete, then stand up in front of the coaching staff and defend every decision.
Why did you make this exercise selection? Why plan this training phase when you did? Why this progression and not that one? We don't just hand our interns a template, we teach them to think like a coach.

Congratulations to on retiring after 9 seasons in the NFL! A 4-time All-Pro, 3-time Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, and one of the most respected players to ever wear a Broncos uniform.
Justin is an LP guy and a tremendous person. His impact on the Denver community goes far beyond football, and we're grateful to have been a small part of his journey.
Thank you, 31. Enjoy what's next. ⛳

Our COD progression is simple. Closed drills first - you know what's coming, where you're cutting, how the weight distribution should feel. We want your mechanics dialed in before we start adding variables. It's not exciting but it's where the real work happens. You have to own the movement before you can use it.
But we're also layering in open work within the same session. Athletes need exposure to reactive situations even while they're still building their closed drill technique. The difference is intent: closed reps are where we rehearse it in chunks, then open reps are where we put it to work and solidify it for transfer to sport.
