A little rain tried to slow us down yesterday, but we still managed to get 6 of our 8 games in at The Simon Diamond.

More than anything, we really enjoyed seeing some familiar faces back at the field and meeting some new ones. That’s a big part of why we enjoy doing this.

A special thank you to Dan Hillers and Keaton Hosch for jumping in and helping us get the field playable again after the rain. We also had several people help keep the grounds clean throughout the day and stick around to help pick up afterward. That kind of help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks to the teams, coaches, families, umpires, and everyone else who spent their Sunday with us.

We're looking to add a few umpires to our contact list for upcoming baseball and softball games at The Simon Diamond in Center Point.

Our place is a pretty low-stress environment — good baseball and softball, good people, and we're here to let the kids play and have some fun.
