It’s hard to believe that it’s now been a quarter century since our country was terrorized in a way that is still so seared into our memories and hearts that it feels like it was just yesterday.

Because of that, we will never forget the lives that were lost that day, or in the many years to follow. We honor them every day - but especially today.

We will never forget the heroes, who so courageously ran to the aid of their fellow Americans in desperate hope of saving lives. We honor them as well.

We will never forgive and we will never forget. And because of it, we will always remain vigilant in the face of those who wish to do us harm.
