What a fun day! ⛳️

The Met PGA Birdie Bash was originally scheduled for August 3rd at Bethpage, but Mother Nature had other plans. That didn’t stop us from getting our 54-holes in today, as we made it happen at Woods & Links Course Page

Big thank you to fellow PGA Professional Mike Springer, PGA and the entire Cherry Creek Family for hosting and taking care of us today. Really appreciate it!

A lot of golf, plenty of laughs, 47 birdies along the way, and most importantly, a chance to support the Metropolitan Section Foundation, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, and Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

Always great spending time with fellow PGA Professionals and using the game we love to support a great cause. 💛⛳️

🏆 STATE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Huge congratulations to Cherry Wang and her Great Neck Girls Golf team on the most historic season in program history! Conference Champions. Nassau County Champions. Long Island Champions. New York State Champions. They swept it all.

Down 5 strokes after day one of States, this team came back with an 18-stroke swing on day two to win by 13!

And the history books will remember this one: Great Neck is officially the first public school girls golf program on Long Island to win a NY State Championship. ⛳

A special shoutout to our very own Cherry Wang — JGA alum, coach, and one of the driving forces behind this championship team.

Congratulations to the whole Great Neck Girls Golf team, coaches, and family on an unforgettable season!
