Yesterday the 2026 Marching Lions Band had their first show day as they prepared for and performed at the MMBA Eastern Regional Preview Show at KIHS. They worked so very hard in rehearsal in the morning that it resulted in a fantastic performance last evening. This is just the beginning and they are so excited to take on the season. Here are some photos that tell the story of our day. Thank you to everyone that contributed some pics from the day.

Today was Show Shirt Day! We celebrated the day before our first show on the road. Tomorrow we head to the MMBA Eastern Regional Preview Show at Kent Island High School. The Marching Lions take the field at 6:00 PM.

Reposting with the hopes of adding to the current roster of alumni who have already responded. We are a week away from the first rehearsal!

Attention all QACHS Marching Lions Band Alumni! We would like to invite you to be a part of the 2026 QACHS Marching Lions Alumni Band. The band will be a part of the Homecoming activities that are to take place on Saturday, October 24th. Rehearsals will be on Tuesday, September 15th, September 29th, October 13th, and October 20th from 7 – 8PM, and Saturday, October 17th from 10AM – 12PM in the QACHS Band Room. Attendance is not required at all of the before-mentioned rehearsals. This is to give plenty of opportunities for you to join us and is for instrumentalists and color guard alike.

The first stop at the home football game last night is complete. Next stop, KIHS next Saturday evening at 6:00 PM.

Tomorrow night is the home opener football game, and the Marching Lions are looking forward to being a part of the excitement. Come out and see all that they have been working on, and come support them on the road this season, beginning with the MMBA Preview Show at KIHS next Saturday.

While this partnership is with the Band Boosters, every penny will be going to support the kids in the Band Program at QACHS. So come out on any and all Tuesday nights this month and enjoy a great bite to eat that will in turn support the kids.
