Sweeten’s Cove is a special place. It’s a heck of a golf course, but also a dramatic reminder of why we love this game. It’s the type of place where you can come as you are, celebrate the good shots, shake off the bad ones, and enjoy every minute of your round because you’re surrounded by awesome people.
Sweeten’s was a fitting backdrop for a daytrip with a group of AGS members this past weekend, and an equally dramatic reminder of why we love our AGS community. Cheers to this crew for making it a day we’ll all remember for a long, long time. Let’s do it again soon!
Shoutouts:
Brian Taylor for the hookup, and for being an A+ ambassador of all things Sweeten’s Cove
tanian_ for never missing a fairway, never missing a putt inside 10
feet, and showing us that even “boring golf” is never boring when you get to share a loop with her
Michael J. Fischer for leading the group on the 🐦🐦 train early and often
Michael Escobar for making the hardest hole on the course ( #7) look like the easiest every time we played it
Jonathan for being quick with calling each us out when we hit a bad shot, but keeping the vibes high the whole way
Travis Gano for the clinic he put on with the driver all day (aside from maybe #3)
Charlie Haynes for finding his groove just in time to carry his team down the stretch on the final loop
And last but certainly not least to Evan for getting us there and back safely in the biggest van on the road + out driving the group with hey dudes and a driver older than himself
