Camille- is the student athlete of the month! Woo hoo!!!

At today's Uni High Invitational, the Sabers secured an impressive third-place finish, as every team member placed within the top three in their event, thereby receiving medals. Notably, Camille accumulated three medals, and Sophie led the team with the highest score.

Tonight, Bekah Goebel and Paige Stark were recognized for their remarkable swimming careers and exemplary leadership at their Senior Night celebration. Bekah's willingness to support the team is unmatched, and Paige's enthusiasm serves as a constant source of encouragement.

Amazing meet tonight against Urbana, Mahomet, Central and Charleston!! The girls placed 3rd and earned a whopping 258 pts!!!

Camille dropped 10 seconds in the 200 Free
Paige and Elaina dropped time in their 50 Free
Isabelle dropped 6 seconds in the 100 Butterfly
Josie dropped 7 seconds in the 500 Free
Paige, Elaina, Bekah and Josie dropped time in the 200 Relay
Camille dropped 10 seconds in the 100 Back
Sophie dropped 11 seconds in the 100 Back
Natalie came in third in the diving competition
Emily swam in several brand new events

As the girls head into their season opener this weekend, we'd like you to meet our team. First up will be our team captain, Hannah!!

STM Swim and Dive has a diver who is STATE BOUND! Congratulations to our Mitchell who qualified for state. Your team and school are so proud of you, as are all of your Central H. S. family and friends, I'm sure.

As we head into the 2021 Sectionals, Coach Angie thought it would be a great time to share with you the members of her team.

And last but certainly not least, a senior and our student manager, Miia. She has been a part of our team all four years at STM. Her favorite color is green. She's a night owl who can't live without her family, her friends, or fashion! If she had a time machine, she would travel to the future rather than the past. Her favorite restaurant was the Pekara in downtown Champaign. She'd love to travel to Italy someday. Her favorite music is anything related to One Direction. Miia looks more like her mom than her dad. The last person she took a picture (or screenshot of) was Harry Styles. She thinks being dedicated to and caring for athletes makes a good coach.

If she had a time machine, she would travel to the Victorian Era. Her favorite restaurant is Chipotle. She'd love to travel to England someday. Bekah looks more like her dad than her mom. The last person she took a picture of was her dog. She thinks being cheerful and supportive makes a good coach. And, if it were a thing, she'd live in a house made of cookie dough instead of a house made of cheese.
