Chandler Archery - NASP

Congratulations Caden! We are all so proud of you!

In February, the most-decorated archer in Oklahoma National Archery in the Schools history competed for the final time at State! Chandler High School Senior Caden Eyestone has competed in OKNASP for 10 years.

In that time, he achieved:
8 x Oklahoma State High individual
9 x NASP Nationals qualifier with 5 top 10 finishes
8 x NASP World Championship qualifier with 4 top 10 finishes

Congrats to everyone on a great day! A lot of archers beat their personal scores today and we had three archers place! Caden Eyestone placed first and Logan Hatton placed third in the high school boys division! Shelby Grissam placed second in the high school girls division!
I could not be prouder of these archers and the work that they have put into this sport. I am excited about seeing what the next year holds!

Hello all!

Quick reminder and some additional information about tomorrow! All archers will be shooting at 2 PM at the Pavilion at the OKC Fairgrounds. Archers will be released by intercom to go up to the building. ALL ARCHERS MUST BE IN SCHOOL. If your child is not in school, they will not be able to go to state!
Seating will be limited, but you cannot bring in lawn chairs! Any outside chairs will not be allowed in!
There is no gate fee to go into state. I have not heard about concessions being there, so if your archer needs snacks, they will need to bring some!

On Monday the 16th, I will be opening up the building from 4 to 5:30 for anyone who wants to come and practice. As long as there is space on the line, all state archers can come and practice.

Hello all!

On Saturday, February 14th, we will be going to McLoud for their state warm up tournament. We will be loading up the bus at 6:15 am. High School shoots at 8 am, and the Junior High will be split up where one group shoots at 9 am and then 9:50 am. Archers will be told today what time they are shooting.
On Thursday the 19th, we will be competing at State at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds in the Pavilion. All competing archers MUST go to school before we leave for state!!! We will load up buses at 11:45 am so they need to bring a lunch! THE FLIGHT SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED AND ALL ARCHERS WILL SHOOT AT 2 PM.
All archers must be signed out after the tournament after loading up their equipment. All archers are responsible for their equipment, so if they load on the bus at the school, they need to load it back on the bus after the tournament or take it with them back to Chandler.

Yearbook photos will be taken on Tuesday after school! High school archers need to wear their team shirts. Junior high needs to wear Chandler t-shirts!

It is official! We are scheduled to shoot at the Central State Competition on February 19th! Junior High will shoot at 11 am and High School will shoot at 2 pm. More details will be announced the closer we get to that day.

There will be no after school practice or hunter's education Thursday 1/22 and Friday 1/23 this week. Stay warm!

Hello all! We will be going to North Rock Creek this Saturday, January 10th. Archers need to be at the archery building at 2:15 to pack up and load the buses. High School and Junior High will both be shooting at 4:20. Check outs will be at the bus and all archers must load their equipment onto the bus before they are checked out.
