On this special day, let's celebrate Gaylyn! For the past 18 months she has been an integral part of KABY Fun Fit. Her dedication to fitness didn't go unnoticed and was recognized with the 2022 Brown Chicken Brown Cow're award for attending more classes than anyone else that year - completing a total of 200+ classes! At 50-something years old, her determination knows no bounds. We are so grateful to have such a brilliant example in our family and can't wait to see what 2023 brings us! Happy Birthday Gaylyn!!

We've all heard the saying, "mind over matter." But what does that really mean? In short, it means that your mindset—the way you think about and perceive the world around you—determines your success. If you have a positive outlook on your challenges, you are more likely to succeed. As Tony T Bennett said, "Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine."

Developing a positive mindset is essential to achieving success in any area of life. By acknowledging your negative thoughts, practicing gratitude, and connecting with a higher power, you can start to see the world in a new, more positive light .So go out there and conquer the world, with a positive mindset!

Creating the body and mindset you desire can feel like an uphill battle. You’re constantly comparing yourself to others and falling short. You beat yourself up for not being where you want to be. But what if I told you that the only way to be successful in creating the body and mindset you desire is by being kind to your current body and mindset?

The first step to being successful in creating the body and mindset you desire is accepting where you are right now. This doesn’t mean that you’re happy with where you are, but it does mean that you accept that this is where you are in this moment. Once you can accept where you are, it becomes much easier to move forward.

The second step is to start being kinder to yourself. This means treating yourself with compassion and understanding. It means speaking kindly to yourself and giving yourself grace when you make mistakes. It means recognizing that you are on a journey and that there will be ups and downs along the way. But if you can be kind to yourself through it all, you will eventually get to where you want to be.

The third step is to focus on taking small steps forward. This means setting realistic goals and then taking action steps that will help you reach those goals. It might seem like slow progress, but it’s important to remember that even the smallest steps forward are still progress. And as long as you keep moving forward, eventually you will reach your destination.

Creating the body and mindset of your dreams is possible, but it won’t happen overnight. And it definitely won’t happen if you’re constantly putting yourself down or beating yourself up for not being where you want to be. The only way to be successful in creating the body and mindset you desire is by being kind to your current body and mindset and then taking small steps forward every day.

We all hate tracking our food. It's tedious and seemingly pointless. But did you know that tracking the food you eat can help you lose weight? It's true! When you track your food, you are holding yourself accountable for what you are putting into your body. This accountability can help you make better choices about the food you eat and how much of it you eat. Take a look at this chart from one of our members who has lost 60 pounds of fat over the last year. You can see that when she doesn't track her food, her weight and body fat percentage tend to fluctuate. However, when she is tracking her food intake, her weight and body fat percentage go down. Tracking your food intake is a great way to stay on track with your weight loss goals!
