St. Roch was marked with a red cross on his chest at birth. When his parents died he inherited great wealth which he gave to the poor and devoted his life to helping the plague-stricken and sick. His miraculous powers were known to have cured many with the, “Sign of the Cross”. He is Patron Saint of invalids. His Feast Day is 16th August.

Prayer

O most merciful God

Who through an angel promised St. Roch

That whoever should invoke his name

Would be preserved from pestilence

And contagious diseases.

Grant that through his intercession we

May be preserved from all dangers,

Both of soul and body

Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

First appointment with our veterinarian Dr. Chen went well, at 8 weeks 6 days old he weighs 4.4lbs and is healthy. Today he received his first vaccine (DAPP).
