Another fantastic Good Dog Agility show and trial season is officially in the books! We wrapped up the regular season with all judges present and all the equipment still in our possession — truly the key ingredients for success!

Saturday brought beautiful weather, and while Sunday warmed up a bit, it was still a great day for agility. The show ran smoothly thanks to the incredible efforts of so many people.

A huge thank you to Karen Gloor, who works tirelessly registering all of the competitors while scoring all weekend long — and somehow keeps it fun the entire time! Stefanie Sailors and Trevor Tyrrell did an outstanding job building courses, while Mary Chessik and Denise Titzer worked their magic recruiting volunteers. They may have had to beg, but they got it done!

I especially want to thank Crystal Coll and Jennifer Zynischer for stepping into volunteer when we needed the help — we truly couldn’t do it without you. And thank you to Annie DeChance for scoring nonstop and providing some much-needed comic relief along the way!

Our judges, Jan Skurzynski and Dale Mahoney, gave us fun but challenging courses. Even Jan’s gamble — which had me staring at the map at 9:00 p.m., exhausted and wondering where on earth to start the gamble— turned into my favorite run of the weekend. Topper absolutely nailed it!

There were so many others who stepped in to help that I can’t possibly name everyone, but please know how much each of you is appreciated.

Now on to the GDA/CZ USDAA Team Night Show, April 25–26 in Phoenix — get your 2-dog teams ready! Can’t wait to see everyone there!

The first Good Dog Agility Club trial for 2026 is in the books. The weather was beautiful and everyone had fun. Huge congratulations to the 3 PDCH's we were able to award in one weekend: Jennifer Zynischer and Maus, Gail Todd and Kweeva, and John Pacini and Gunny! Big thank you to our judges Meagan Johnson and Ken Boyd for some very fun and challenging courses. Our Chief Course builders worked so hard this weekend. Thank you to Stefanie Sailors and Trevor Tyrrell! Plus, there were so many people that stepped in to help them Sharon Levine, Kodie Levine, Gail Todd, Amy Mescher, Susan McGowan, Bob Sucharski. and Tracy Sucharski. Our Chief Ring Stewards also work tirelessly yelling for volunteers all day (it can be very frustrating..). Thank you to Mary Chessik and Jennifer Zynischer for stepping in to fill the position. Karen Gloor is the best Show Secretary and my right hand; we make a great team putting these trials on and running pairs "Seeking World Domination"! Thank you to Annie DeChance for helping score keep all weekend plus your great attitude! Thank you to Debbie Brooks for taking Meagan to the airport on the way home! We always say it takes a village to put on an agility trial and I am so glad we have the best village!
