It isn’t magic, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be hard. Here’s some ways we can stay on track for longer. Don’t forget, this is supposed to be something we can maintain indefinitely, not something that we use only for a little while.

These little loves of mine. They are challenging, they are loud, they are stubborn, they are dramatic, they are hilarious, they are sweet, they are gentle, they are annoying, they are fun, they are my world.
I have been fortunate enough to have a stoic guide through all of this - reading the and the and trying to put the words into practice. It isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it.
Will I be a ghost that haunts my children in their future, or will I be an ancestor that guides them? Discovering where to soften so they can be vulnerable and where to be firm so they can grow to their full potential… that’s the challenge. But, I am not afraid - I will take each day as it comes and just try to do better than yesterday.

For those in the challenge, don’t forget we have a cold plunge at the gym at 10:30a (Sunday, Oct. 22). If you are not in the challenge but would like the opportunity to see what it’s all about, let’s get it started (this is the last week to sign up for this one). This is NOT a crash diet experiment to have you do unrealistic tasks to drop weight in 6 weeks, this is a challenge to jumpstart your lifelong behaviors that Will lead you to a better health span and lifespan.

Here is a look at your EVSC Athletes that are advancing to the next stage in the CrossFit Games season.

First up is the Open Quarterfinals which takes place on March 17 - 19th.
Ryan Conley is participating in his first Quarterfinals and deserves a huge shoutout for being the top male at the gym. He absolutely destroyed my scores on workouts 2 & 3!

Next are the Age Group Qualifiers which will take place on March 31st - April 2nd.
qualified for her first QF event and we are super proud of her as well!
finished in the TOP 1% in her age group!!!
made it, despite constantly talking about how much she hated working out.
finished in the top spot overall out of everyone at the gym.
coming in hot in a new age bracket and solidifying his position in his 8th appearance in a QF/Regional event.

We are incredibly proud of these athletes as they pushed like hell to get to this position. However, we are eternally grateful to all of you that help support them all - whether that it through constant encouragement, giving them times to beat, or just good old fashioned verbal abuse. Thank you to everyone that shows up every day and helps keep that competitive spirit alive.

What an amazing group! We laughed, we cried, we sweat a little. These wonderful people showed up and put in the hard work to grow and get better. I had such a fun time teaching them and being a small part of their fitness journeys. Thank you for letting me teach your athletes the **ch and these past weekends!

My little pumpkin started physical therapy last week for her shortened Achilles tendons which is stopping her from being able to walk, stand, or balance. She is so energetic and wants to play so bad… it is hard to watch her go through it, but it is necessary for her to grow. What was hard for you to watch your kids go through but they are better because of it?

You wouldn’t know it from all the pictures, but and I worked out with a few weeks ago! We had a blast. We got beat, but we worked hard and did our absolute best. I love these two and I love having their abilities and drive push me to my own limits.
