How busy is the Chanhassen Senior Center? Here’s a look at just some of what happened in 2025:
• 11,699 cumulative participants
• 18 adventure trips covering 1,052 miles
• 6,730 visits to weekly and monthly game and social groups
• 6,061 meals delivered to Chanhassen seniors
• 21 Chan-o-Laires concerts
• And, perhaps most importantly, 384 donuts enjoyed during “coffee and treats”

There’s plenty happening at the Senior Center. Come be part of it.

The Teen Volunteer program is essential to the many programs and community events you love. The program aims to develop leadership and responsibility through community involvement and volunteer opportunities for teens ages 13-16. Opportunities include youth programs and activities, community events, youth sports, park projects and more during June, July and August.

Bone Adventure is back!

Hit the trails with your family & four-legged friend(s) as you search for ten bones placed along Chanhassen's 66 miles of trails. Take a photo of your pooch with the sign & head over to Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies (7818 Market Blvd.) for a free treat. Every photo with a different bone earns you an entry into a drawing for a $100 prize package. All the fun starts September 18.

Looking to play pickleball this fall? Join the Friday Night Pickleball Parties! This program runs from 6-9 p.m. every Friday in October (Oct. 2, Oct. 9, Oct. 16, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30) at the outdoor courts at the Rec Center. We're looking for an inspiring, positive person to help teach our Star and Small Fry groups the basics of sports, from soccer to basketball. Coaches are needed for Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and one Friday evening per month. Applicants must be at least 14 years of age.
