Sign of a good player is that they never miss in the net. The pros hit really high over the net

The holidays always remind me why I chose this path 🎾❤️
I’m incredibly thankful for my students and their families — not just for these thoughtful gifts, but for the trust, effort, and energy they bring to the court every single day.
Coaching is more than teaching tennis. It’s about growth, confidence, resilience, and connection.
I feel lucky to do what I love and to be surrounded by such amazing people. Grateful beyond words 🙏

Do not obsess over winning. Great players don’t focus on winning but rather they focus on improving. Have a growth mindset and get out of your comfort zone. For example if a player is too tentative to go for their shots then they need to make a goal to hit atleast 5 shots without fear in a match regardless of the result. Once they are comfortable with this then they can increase the goal to 10 shots and so on.

The toughest thing to understand in tennis, and honestly in any sport, is learning not to obsess over winning or losing.
The real focus has to be on the process of getting better. 🎯
Tennis is such a fascinating game because there are endless details to learn, adjust, and improve. Every time you step on court, you have a new chance to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. The main goal should always be to enjoy the process and have fun getting better!
It’s completely natural to compare yourself to others, especially since you’re always competing against someone on the other side of the net. But at the end of the day, the real opponent is your own game. If you can be a little better than you were yesterday, you’re already winning.
Let’s goooo! 💪🎾
