BENEFIT & RAFFLE for JOHN WASSERMANN
Saturday, September 26
12 noon to 5:00pm
Cornersville Baptist Church Manna Center

This post was going to look much different before. As many of you know, John Wassermann passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning while enjoying and doing what he loves, attending a dove hunt with friends.
Just Friday evening, the day before, Bob called John and spoke with him to let him know we are doing a benefit for him. John was quiet for a moment and was choked up at the kindness that many people were showing towards him. He was very appreciative of this benefit and was looking forward to it.

The benefit is still happening! We are still supporting our friend, John, and his wife, Kim, and his family. John gave a lot of himself to others and now it is our turn to give back to John and his family.

We hope you will attend the benefit and grab a summertime meal, talk and reminisce about good times with John.
BUY A TICKET or two!! We are raffling off six fi****ms and a shoulder deer mount. There’s a good chance that we will have more items donated in which we will do a silent auction the day of the benefit.
You can purchase tickets now ($20 per ticket) by TEXTING:
Cameron Haack at 931-637-7232 or
Bob Johnson at 931-637-5878

If you prefer to use Venmo or PayPal to make a donation, please type “John” in the comment space with your donation.

We are truly blessed and astounded by the community support. God bless you all 🙏

A major restoration effort is underway to improve more than 5,000 acres of habitat using prescribed fire, timber management, and science-backed conservation practices. The goal isn't just bringing back bobwhite quail—it's creating healthier habitat that benefits countless wildlife species while preserving a rich hunting tradition.

Learn how this long-term project is reshaping the landscape, what success looks like, and why the lessons being learned could help landowners across Tennessee and beyond.
