And NYT has done it again, win number 4 against one of the toughest opponents NYCCC in Commonwealth Cricket League
New York Thunderbolts elected to field first, Imran and Ravish Khanchi opened bowling, What a spell by Ravish, 6 overs 2 for 21- brilliant performance. Ravish and Alex Algoo provided early breakthroughs. Umer Shah bowled excellent spell - our wounded warrior, getting hurt on neck and very next ball on finger, resulted in fracture on finger but still he finished his spell with 1 wkt for just 31 runs. New teammate Aniket Avasarkar bowled well in just first game. NYT restricted NYCCC at 203/8 in 30 overs.
Alex Algoo and Imran Raja opened innings for NYT. Once again explosive knock from Alex scoring 108 for 38 balls, Imran played supporting and blistering knock as well scoring 70 of 50 balls.
New York Thunderbolts chased target of 204 in just 19.4 overs MoM Alex Algoo REMEMBER THE NAME.!!!!

New York Thunderbolts has registered there 3rd win, winning 3 of 4 matches played.
NYT won the toss and choose to ball first, Umer opened balling with excellent spell and grabbed 2 wkts, NY Finest Kabir and Manpreet played well with partnership of over 100 runs. But our golden arm (Manu Sharma) got breakthroughs and restricted NY Finest at a score of 240 runs in 30 overs. And not to forget keeping by our very own Dhoni -Gaurav Jayaswal!! Lightning fast stumping.

NYT started inning with Alex Algoo and Sid C
What a performance by Alex Algoo, he was at his best, explosive inning of 182 runs in just 60 balls 22 sixes and 9 fours, felt like we’re watching IPL highlights of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and ABD, 3 balls lost during his inning, absolutely dominating performance. NYT won the game in 18.1 overs 🥳

What a game of cricket we saw on Sunday June 4th, over 500 runs being scored. VCC won the toss and decided to bat 1st, there openers had 100 runs partnership which helped VCC putting a mountain of score of 265/6 in 30 overs.
NYT lost opener in 1st over, Alex & Gaurav Jayaswal flourished boundaries and scored 44 in just 3.3 overs before they got out. NYT scored at required run rate but keep losing wkts at at end on 12 overs NYT had lost 7 wickets for 114 runs on board.
Raj Mohabe & Ajay had partnership of 44 runs and were looking good but Ajay got caught out at deep midwkt. Manu sharma walked in at 158/8. 97 of last 10 overs were required, 56 of 39 balls- blistering knock by Manu helped NYT bring target under achievable runrate. Manu got out at deep mid wkt when trying to hit another six. With 9 wkts down NYT required 12 runs of 8 balls, Raj batting at 51, Susheel walks in. Susheel defended last 2 balls of 29th over. with 12 required of 6 balls, Raj hit 4 at extra cover of very first ball of 30th over, with couple of wides NYT took charge, Raj hitting winning boundary at square leg. Raj Mohabe played captains knock - scoring 59 and making sure team win the game.

New York Thunderbolts registered there first win of season against Brooklyn Strikers.
Alex Algoo scored 87 of 65 hitting 6 fours and 6 sixes in his inning, Gaurav & Sid C’s knock helped NYT scoring 225 of 30 overs.
Excellent bowling performances by Raj Mohabe Manu Sharma and Alex - sealed the match for NYT
