Kara is a 5 year old filly by Karakontie out of the Hard Spun mare Alinea. She is lightly raced with only 6 career starts. Last start was 8/29/2025. She is retiring from racing sound with no vices or previous injuries.

I purchased her as a yearling so she has been with the same connections pretty close to her whole life. She ran mostly on the turf so her winters off at home consisted of hacking and some pole work. She was also trail ridden a ton while we were breaking her. She was practically born to be a hunter princess. She stands for the farrier, loads and rides on the trailer like a dream. Super quiet to ride, goes in a snaffle.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Kara. She has a big personality, loves peppermints and attention. She’s been a wonderful girl to have in the barn and she’s ready for her next adventure. She’s very much adored and letting her go is going to be tough…

Needy is an 11 year old gelding standing at 16.3h. He is by Denis of Cork out of the Hansel mare Ginger Crumb.
He had quite an extensive race record with 60 career starts with earnings of $175,546. His last race was 6/20/20.

He has been let down, and lightly restarted. He’s been on the back burner due to lack of time. He’s very willing, always the same horse no matter how long between rides, good with kids, dogs, goats, goes in a snaffle, stands for the farrier, and to be groomed. He just loves attention! He has a huge puppy dog personality, with no vices.

17h, 3 year old gelding by Get Stormy out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Last Song.

Squash, as he has been lovingly called since he came into our family as a yearling, has been in training at the track but is unraced. Quite frankly, he Just. Keeps. Growing. And our home track with small, sharp turns is not for him. He does everything right, very easy to ride, goes in a snaffle, ties, and loads on the trailer.

This horse OOZES personality. He makes sure everyone knows he’s there in all the right ways. He is drop dead gorgeous with all of his chrome and the way he carries himself. He loves attention, peppermints and his jolly ball. He is looking for a new change of pace off the track where I know he will thrive. Once he grows up and fills out he will be a stand out in any discipline.

Squash has been with us almost his whole life and a great home is a must. He’s going to be a hard one to part with.

Joy has been off property to a handful of schooling shows and has handled everything with ease. Loads on the trailer, walks into any ring and does what is asked of her. Does everything right, just simply not fast enough to be a race horse. We honestly can’t say enough good things about him.
