To our fellow Charles Town area swim enthusiasts.

Like you, we are excitedly watching the old pool at Jefferson Memorial Park get a long overdue overhaul. Due to major delays in component delivery, and extreme cold this winter, construction is still ongoing and will not be completed by Memorial Day. As of right now, the splashpad will remain unavailable this year. However the pool and pool house renovations should be completed in July. We ARE going to try and open the pool at that time. Stay tuned to the Charles Town Parks and Rec page for more information!

Pool Hours: Ultimately pool availability will be dictated by what we can do safely given the current situation, and within the confines of staffing abilities. That being said, we intend to open as soon as possible, to be open as much as possible, and to push the swim season past Labor Day if possible. Stay tuned, more information to come.

Staffing: We are still actively recruiting staff to work concessions, and lifeguard. We are looking for individuals who are excited to build the future of the new Charles Town Public Pool. If that describes you, reach out to the Parks Manager, Gavin Bailey ([email protected]).

Come join the The City of Charles Town and the Charles Town Tree board in our two Arbor Day tree planting events happening on April 25th. We will be planting a row of trees near the back of Craighill Park starting 10am and then moving to Evitts Run Park to plant two more at 2pm. Hope to see you there!
