While listening to a podcast this afternoon I heard the host say the most simple yet impactful thing Iāve heard yet today:
āAction creates more action and inaction creates more inactionā
So here I am, sharing this with you to say that itās always going to be worth it to take that walk, to go exercise, to pick that nutritious meal & to invest in yourself!
If you donāt make the intentional choices to build your own momentum, you arenāt giving yourself a fighting chance be who you want to be.

š„Motivation Mondayš„:How to find it within.
A big chunk of my confidence in my ability to develop a skill or reach a goal has come as a result of experience & growth from navigating challenges both large and small.
If reaching your fitness goals feels intimidating or unattainable, I encourage you to reflect on what other skills you have developed, or goals you have reached over your lifetime & apply it to how you view growth regarding your own health & strength.
We already have the framework within ourselves to accomplish new challenges;
We tend to forget that the same framework can be applied in many other ways & refined even more with time/experience.

A nutritious spin on a classic favorite! Check out these power packed, Omega-3 & protein pancakes.
I make these pancakes several times a week for many reasons:
⢠Theyāre tasty & filling š
⢠High in fiber š±
⢠PACKED with complete protein sources (30g!) šŖš¼
⢠Theyāre also loaded with extremely important Omega-3 fats
Why do we care about Omega-3 fats? Not only are they heart healthy, they also reduce inflammation in your muscles from strength training & exercise!
Part of strength training includes tearing your muscles (literally) which DOES cause some inflammation.
Itās a necessary process to build muscle so this is why focusing on a nutrient packed diet is so important!
Recipe:
- 1/2 cup flapjack mix
- 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- 2 tbsp of h**p seeds
- 1 tsp of coconut oil (for skillet)
- Toppings (honey, maple syrup, pecans, etc.)
Mix the seeds with the powder mix and add about 1/3 cup of water. Pour over a hot skillet (medium-high heat) and flip when ready!
Batter will get thick quickly from the chia seeds! Add small amounts of water to dilute if needed.

Wishing a VERY HAPPY birthday to not just one, but TWO of my clients (turned friends ā¤ļø).
Ironically, when I went to list out their wonderful qualities and characteristics, I realized how similar they are! We love Scorpios!
Rachel- You are so wise, intuitive, compassionate and determined! Your pushups are also BADASS!
Aashini- You are bold, caring, hilarious, and have some killer dance moves in between those STRONG squats of yours!

Everyone loves a good kettlebell workout, right? These things will certainly get those muscles burning.
