ADULT CLASSES // Our Adult Fall Session 1 classes begin next week, 8/31! Join us for Beginner & Intermediate/Open Level Ballet, along with our new Pre-Pointe/Beginner Pointe and Cardio Hip Hop classes

Adult Fall Session 1
8/31-10/8 | All Classes 7:30-8:45pm

Pre-Pointe/Beginner Pointe* - Mondays
Open Level/Intermediate Ballet - Tuesdays
Beginner Ballet - Wednesdays
Cardio Hip Hop - Thursdays

Class passes for each class are available up until the first class. Drop-ins will be welcome for $25 per class.

*Pre-Pointe/Beginner Pointe students must have class pass enrollment in a concurrent session of Adult Intermediate/Open Level Ballet or Adult Beginner Ballet. There will be no class on Labor Day 9/7, so the class pass for the Pre-Pointe/Beginner Pointe Fall Session 1 will be reduced to $100.

DABRIA AGUILAR MASTER CLASS // An enormous thank you to Dabria Aguilar for a fantastic musical theatre Master Class yesterday! Dabria said it best: this was such a special full circle moment, to have one of our original PrePro dancers return to teach the next generation of dancers. We will always be your biggest fans here at DCC, and are so grateful for our dancers to have this inspiring opportunity in the studio with you—we can’t wait to have you back again soon!

NUTCRACKER 2026 // Reminder that this Friday, 8/28/26 is the last day to register for our 10th annual production of The Nutcracker with performances at the Sottile Theatre and the Charleston Gaillard Center! All enrolled DCC ballet students in Beginner Ballet & up are eligible to perform. We’re thrilled to give our students the gift of performing and to share the magic of The Nutcracker with our Charleston community this holiday season!

WELCOME BACK TO DCC // What a wonderful official kick-off to our 10th Anniversary Season at DCC! Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate, from new dancers starting classes this Fall Semester to families who have been with us from the very beginning. We’re thrilled to dive into another fantastic year with our students, and now: on to Nutcracker!

WELCOME BACK TO DCC // We’re excited to celebrate the start of 10th Anniversary Season at DCC at our Welcome Back Party tomorrow—Saturday, 8/22–in Studio 5! Drop in between 12:45-2pm to join us for:

Nutcracker Season Kick-Off activities, including Nutcracker coloring sheets, photo-ops with our Advanced dancers in costume, and DCC faculty available to answer all of your questions about participating in this year’s production! We will also have Nutcracker costume measurements available for participating dancers.
DCC merch available for purchase to start the new school year in style!
Ballet Bun Tips & Tricks workshop and Studio Tours in our main building for new and returning families!
Nut-free treats & refreshments!

FALL 2026 // We are considering adding an additional Saturday Morning Dance With Me class for ages 18 months-3 years to the Fall Semester schedule due to popular demand! NUTCRACKER 2026 // Student dancers take center stage in DCC’s 10th Anniversary production of The Nutcracker! From our children’s and primary division dancers as Little Mice and Gingerbread to our pre-professional students in the principal roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen, we are proud to present a performance in which every student has the opportunity to shine!
