Daniel Island Happy Hour 5K Series

Outdoor track is back!! And it's a beautiful sunny day here in Charlotte.

Good morning DI Happy Hour 5kers! Obviously, we are in a holding pattern until things become clearer. We had dates set and were on go for 2020 but we want to hold off and see how things shake out over the next couple of weeks. We want to work with the other local events to provide you all the most opportunities we can once things get rolling again. We will be in touch. Keep your head up, stay safe, and keep training!!

Come join us for the only 5k road race located at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Enjoy a family friendly, pet friendly 5K run/walk down the beautiful historic campus of The Citadel located just outside the heart of Charleston. The course is also stroller friendly for those who want to bring the whole family. You will see the academic buildings, the barracks and the beautiful view of the Ashley River.

We have teamed up with Timinginc.com again to offer live results to make it easy to find out how you did. The Bulldog Breakaway Christmas 5k will have a USATF Certified course with clearly marked mile markers and a clearly marked course.

The race starts and finishes at the Willson Field Track Complex on the backside of The Citadel’s Campus. There will be awards shortly following the conclusion of the race. We will have late registration at 7:00am on Saturday, December 14 and the race will start promptly at 8:00am.
