Victory goes to C of C. Best uniforms goes to Carolina YC. Great looking new pinnies! Glorious night of team racing at CCS as part of the ChYC Open. Thanks to CCS for supporting the event. Nick Johnstone did a great job getting it all together. Thanks to all that helped. We want to do more and hope everyone stays in touch so we can make that happen. Here are a few photos. Thanks to ChYC which kept their food available later for our sailors. Great spread.

$10 payment to -hamm-3 is due from some of you still. Please pay so I can get all the funds to CCS. Thanks to those that paid at the event.

Really was a great event. We spoke some about it and announced the award winners at the ChYC Trophy presentation. Jessica Koenig has some pics I think and if I get them I will post. Funny, CCS had a similar event a few years back and I attached a copy of that pic.

Not liking the trending weather. Cancelled for the day. Enjoy the day! Hope to see plenty of y’all Tuesday night at C of C.

Racing cancelled for Sunday. We are looking at high school sailing starting and a couple other issues. Many of our sailors are getting less free time. Stay tuned.
Next Sunday we are pretty sure that there is a Lightning regatta happening in the harbor that many of us are committed to so we had planned on cancelling next week anyway. If any of you want to sail Lightning let us know. There are several skippers on this page and I have an extra Lightning that I could let a team put together.

Nick is going to be updating the pairings for this week but assuming they will probably stay the same as last week due to the cancellation so please make sure that if you are on last weeks sailors to get your crew lined up. Tell your crew it is $10 per person as well or pay for them. We still are coming out a few bucks short each week. We may just say $20 per skipper and they can venmo you the $10 or you pay for them. Just pay attention and PAY.

CCS was very appreciative that we cancelled this past weekend. We were spared any damage but as you all know the East Coast got hammered north of here. Crazy stuff.

Keep an eye out on the new pairings. Nick said he would update if necessary this afternoon. See you Sunday at 2:30pm!

you are all welcome! Because of our cancelling the racing the weather was absolutely incredible yesterday so hope you had some good times outside to move around some of your outdoor furniture or tie down your own boats. I did not get a call to action to tie down the boats at CCS but I am sure they spent some time yesterday or this morning doing so with our tropical storm we should get around 3 if the models are correct.
Please plan on being there next Sunday to see the new buoys and hopefully get that perfect Seabreeze.
I am pretty sure most of you if not all of you are FB members of the C of C Sailing Association page. We have a seperate group inside that for Recreational Racing and this month we do hope to race all 4 Tuesday nights. Like that page and keep up with the info. That group is full of you great sailors but also allows more novice sailors so come down and show them how it works. Same deal, $10 per sailor and great seabreeze and later in the day so cooler. See many of you there if this storm clears out in time and leaves sailable weather. We are pickier on Tuesdays about weather because of the talent level.
The following weekend we are looking at many of our sailors taking part in a Lightning regatta so we will let you know later how that will affect us.
Everyone stay safe and hope to see you soon.
