Do you have a Bilda Bike and live in the Charleston area? Great news! Our repair department is now back open for service! We have a staff of reliable mechanics and we are even extending our normal business hours!

In addition to Bilda Bikes, we are able to service neighborhood, city bikes, and beach cruisers. To best serve our downtown clientele we are not able to service dual-suspension mountain bikes, high end road bikes, triathlon bikes, or electric bikes.

The repair department is open Monday-Friday 10-6 for on-the-spot service. Tune ups will be completed within 24-48 hours. Most repairs will be completed within 15-30 minutes while you wait.

Please note we are no longer able to offer free tune ups on any bikes that were purchased from Affordabike Bicycle Shop.

Out for a Sunday cruise! 🤩

“This idea was brewing for a while and we were lab testing several frames to pass impact and fatigue criteria. Then I linked up with the owner of at on a lift and we rode together and it was rad! He helped me tremendously to bring this project to life. We are still several months away from the release but this project is becoming a reality. The reason it is called the 9.2 is because it has 29 inch wheels. And the 2 represents a more economical model whereas we plan to release a nicer 9.1 model later. The Mountain Goat name is lent to us by First Flight and is a nod to Jeff Archer who was the founder and curator of the First Flight mountain bike museum in North Carolina. During his time there, they had an in-house brand called Mountain Goat. These bikes are still highly collectible and sought after. I hope he would be proud! Limited availability.
