2027 Charlestown Little League Board Elections
The 2027 Charlestown Little League Board elections were held, and unfortunately, very few people attended.
It’s very disappointing because you can’t expect change if you aren’t willing to be part of the process.
Every year, decisions are made about how the league operates, what direction it takes, how money is spent, how programs are structured, and what kind of experience we provide for our kids.
Inevitability, there will be people who disagree with some of those decisions.
That’s okay because disagreement is part of any organization and is how we better ourselves and our community.
If you have concerns about how the league is being run, if you think things should be done differently, or if you believe there is a better way forward, the best thing you can do is show up.
Show up to meetings!
Volunteer!
Ask questions!
Offer solutions!
Run for the Board!
Get involved!
It’s easy to criticize from the bleachers. It's easier to complain and yell on social media, but it’s much harder and much more meaningful to step onto the field and help make things better.
Charlestown Little League belongs to the kids and the community, and the people who care about its future have an opportunity to help shape it.
If you want to see change, don’t just talk about it. You have to be willing to work for it.
Our kids deserve adults who are willing to show up.
Our 2027 Board election results are posted here. The two positions that are vacant will be researched and voted on by the new board when they take over on October 1st.
