Rain or shine, this crew always shows up. 🌧️✨
The weather may have changed, but the energy never did. A little summer rain turned into the perfect cooldown, and our community kept moving.

Huge thank you to Altra Running, Feetures, and Charlotte Running Company for coming out, fitting the crew, and letting everyone test out some incredible gear.
And to everyone who laced up despite the forecast — you’re what makes this community special.

Finally, if you’re not inspired by the mission of Stride Forward Foundation, you need to hear their story. Their work to make running more accessible and to create opportunities through the Feed Charlotte 5K is exactly what our community is about. We can’t wait to support them in August. ❤️🏃

It’s an Altra Running takeover! 👟🔥
We’re kicking off a full week of Altra in the 704, and tonight they’re bringing the heat. Altra Running and Charlotte Running Company will be on site with demo shoes so you can test out the latest gear for your run. Plus, our friends from Feetures will be hanging out with us too.

We’re also excited to welcome the incredible team from Weddington High School, who’ll be sharing more about the upcoming Stride Forward Foundation Feed Charlotte 5K this August and the impact the race has on our community.

As always, Barn Burners is a rain or shine run club. A little rain never hurt anyone — in fact, it beats running in this Carolina heat. ☔️🌤️ The only thing that stops us is lightning. If weather causes any delays or cancellations, we’ll post updates immediately to our Instagram Stories and Strava channel.

We hope y’all enjoyed tackling our new hilly routes! Growth doesn’t happen on the easy miles — we’re here to challenge ourselves, get stronger together, and have everyone ready to crush fall race season. 🍂🏃

So... what are your goals for this month? A new distance? A PR? Just showing up consistently? Whatever it is, let’s get after it.

This weekend, Barn Burners was proud to support the Rise Above 5K benefiting The Harvest Center of Charlotte. Seeing our community come together — whether running, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines — is what it’s all about.
A huge thank you to every participant, volunteer, and supporter who showed up and helped make a difference for our neighborhood. We’re grateful to be part of a community that always rises to the occasion. ❤️
