Meet the instructor: Bridget Porter-Young ✨

Her leadership has shaped generations of dancers across the Charlotte area. Bridget brings 44 years of teaching to the studio as Artistic Director of Charlotte School of Ballet, Belmont School of Ballet, and Charlotte Youth Ballet.

She’s a Fellow of the Cecchetti Council of America, a Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance, and an Affiliate of the American Academy of Ballet.

Meet the Instructor: Norah Miller 🩰

Kicking off our Meet the Instructor series with someone who knows CSB inside and out — Norah teaches Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical for ages 2+ and adults.

She’s been part of the CSB family since she was a student herself at 13, and now she’s in her 7th year teaching here.

Tiny feet, first tutus, first time in the studio. Our Pre-Ballet/Tap program is a gentle, joyful introduction to dance for our youngest ballerinas.
