Art of the Week β¨οΈ
"Coming From The Market", by Malawian artist Steve Mateyu beautifully captures the rhythm of everyday life.
Six African women walk together in unison, balancing water pots and fruit baskets on their heads while carrying their babies on their backs.
At the heart of the group, a young girl carries her own water pot, symbolizing the passing of tradition, resilience, and responsibility from one generation to the next.
β¨ This original painting is available for purchase. Every purchase directly supports Steve Mateyu and helps provide for his family back home in Malawi. By welcoming this artwork into your collection, you're not only investing in an original piece of art you're also making a meaningful impact in the life of the artist who created it.
