What a night. Hickory Motor Speedway 6/7 recap
I know I’ve been inactive on this page for a long time and I apologize for that. Spotting wise it has been a rough year for me with some unfortunate circumstances and school keeping me out of the stand for most of the year so far as well as a string of finishes no better than fourth all year. That all changed last night. I’ve been trying to make it out to hickory with Cody Demarmels and the whole Demarmels racing group for over a year now, but rain and scheduling conflicts prevented that. Thankfully the rain finally held off and we had a great night! I spotted for Cody in the # 71 Jason Smith Racing Limited Late model for a 35 lap race and the Demarmels racing #53 street stock for twin 25s. The limited race was not kind to us, with a car that was suddenly loose after being tight all day, starting P5 and bringing it home P6. The highlight of the night though was both street stock races. We qualified on the pole for the first one and brought home the WIN in dominating fashion. The second race we started P2 and after a great crossover by Cody on lap 3 we went out to a big lead and brought home the second WIN to sweep the night!
This was a huge milestone for me, as it was not only my first win at hickory, but my first win in North Carolina and my first SWEEP on a twin night.
I can’t thank Cody and the whole Demarmels racing group enough for allowing me to be their eyes in the sky and trusting me to keep Cody safe. Can’t wait for the next one!

As we approach the last few races in the pavement short track season, I just wanted to thank some people who have helped make this all happen. Firstly I want to thank my parents for letting their son run around all summer chasing race cars after he had been away from home for 8 months. I want to also thank my clients from this year, Allen Marshall, Andrew Hunds, Mason Bailey, Landon Rapp and Black Diamond Industries. I truly appreciate you all believing in me and trusting me to be your eyes in the sky. With that being said, I also want to thank the good lord for letting me still chase my dreams. As of right now I am still available for the Saturday portion of the South Carolina 400 and maybe the thanksgiving classic. If anyone is looking for a spotter feel free to reach out. Thank you all! Before I go though let’s play a game! Who can find the spotter (Jacob) in this picture from wilkesboro?
In all seriousness though, thank you all for making this season possible. Can’t wait to see what next season brings!

Good morning race fans! Got the last minute call to spot for Dusty Garus in the number 22 CARS Tour Pro Late Model today at North Wilkesboro! This is an awesome experience for me, especially since I grew up hearing about the racing at North Wilkesboro. When it re opened I just knew I had to spot a race here, and that is finally happening. Can’t thank Dusty and crew enough for giving me this opportunity! Racing starts tonight at 5:30 on Floracing

Hey everyone! Its been awhile since I made a post here but just figured I’d give a little update. First things first: I am STILL AVAILABLE for the valley star credit union 300. All of my contact information is listed in the picture below. If you text, please leave your name and if you call and I do not answer please leave your name so I can get back to you. Also, I apologize for my recent inactivity, but I have moved back to college so things have kind of slowed down. Also, with the season winding down, I have a few people I’d like to thank for their opportunities this year. Huge thanks to Allen Marshall, Mason Bailey, and the entire Mullins Racing crew for allowing me to come on and do what I enjoy! I look forward to working with you all in the future! I look forward to seeing you all with many trophies if I am unable to attend. Once again, the season is not over yet, so if you need a spotter feel free to reach me with the contact info below. If there is anyone at Florence Motor Speedway on September 14th in need of a spotter in every division except for late models I will be in attendance. Thank you all once again!

So life has been pretty wild lately, and I have been very busy, so I forgot to make a race recap for 5/19. I got the call from Mason Bailey to come spot at Langley Mother’s Day weekend and couldn’t turn down the opportunity to spot for my first LMSC. We struggled with the handling all day but brought the car home P12 and 13 in both races without a scratch in a field of over 20 Late Models! Really appreciate Mason for giving me the opportunity to be on top of the stand for him and giving me a chance to get a little more experience with intense situations!

**Precision Spotting By Jacob Witt Race Recap 4/21**
After a few weeks of school work and work down in North Carolina, I was able to make my first trip up to Dominion Raceway in Spotsylvania Virginia to spot for Allen Marshall in the #99 VA Modified for ACM Racing, coming home p3 in a caution free race. While there, I was asked to spot for Andrew Hunds in the #21 Legend car. After an eventful race with some attrition, we were able to come home with a top 5 with a stout field of cars! Huge thanks to everyone for the opportunity and trusting me to be their eyes in the sky last night!
